The Shambhuganj Bridge, the 2nd China-Bangladesh Friendship Bridge, with a total length of 464.36 m and a width of 14.4 m, is located in Mymensingh city. The approach road of both sides is 1985 m long in total and the design speed is 65km/h. It connects Dhaka, the capital, with the highway network in the north of Bangladesh. Shambhuganj Highway Bridge has been completed in July 1991 with the investment of 33.37 million CNY.
