At 9:00 a.m. on March 1st, 2018, Zhang Lijun, Chinese Ambassador in Niger, with Gao Tiefeng, Chinese Economic and Commercial Counsellor in Niger, and Chen Liwen, Chinese Political Counsellor in Niger, went to the site of the China-aided Niger Third Bridge Project for inspection.

Ambassador Zhang Lijun and two counsellors listened to the work report of the construction technology group and the management group in the resident conference room, and made an important speech to the attendees. The ambassador pointed out that this project is the largest project to assist Niger, during the construction process, we must adhere to the principle of "quality first and safety first", and said that the project management team and the construction technology group should work closely to create brand products of "made in China". The ambassador also emphasized that we should pay attention to safety in work and live life, and strengthening safety education for the staff. The ambassador also paid attention to the living qualification of personnel stayed on foreign aid project, requiring the project leaders helping the foreign aid personnel live well, so that everyone could have a good rest and work with full mental state, meanwhile, enriching staffs' spare time life to make everyone feel at home even in foreign country.

After the conference, the ambassador and two counsellors inspected the staff dormitory and the construction site, expressed satisfaction for the neat staff dormitory and felt approval for the standardized construction process. For the existing problems of the project, they would communicate with senior government officials of local government at the right time.
