On May 8th, Director Yang Feng of the Engineering Investigation Division led the geothermal business team to conduct an investigation and exchange with Director Wang Wei and Director Du Zhihong of the Zhengzhou Research Institute of National University of Science and Technology in Shangcai County, Zhumadian City.

　　President Yang Feng and a delegation from National University of Science and Technology inspected geothermal resource points such as Zhuangyuan Hong and Wolonggu, accompanied by Zhang Qifu, Deputy County Mayor of Shangcai County. After the inspection, a symposium and exchange meeting were held on geothermal and other dual carbon businesses. County Mayor Li Chao, Deputy County Mayor Zhang Qifu, and leaders from the National Development and Reform Commission, Natural Resources Bureau, Transportation Bureau, and Urban Investment Corporation attended the meeting.

　　At the symposium, President Yang Feng introduced the company's layout in the field of new energy and stated that the research institute will fully support the industrialization development of new energy businesses such as geothermal energy in Shangcai County. Vice County Mayor Zhang Qifu introduced the advantages of geothermal resources and the determination to develop and utilize geothermal resources in Shangcai County. Both parties unanimously believe that the Institute and the Shangcai County Government have a good foundation for cooperation, and in the future, communication and business cooperation should be strengthened to jointly promote the implementation of geothermal projects.
