May 20, 2023 is the 24th World Metrology Day. The global theme of this year's World Metrology Day is "Measurement Supports the Global Food System", and the special theme of China is "Measurement Helps Chinese path to modernization". In order to deeply implement the State Council's "Metrology Development Plan (2021-2035)" and the Henan Provincial People's Government's "Implementation Opinions on Further Improving Metrology Work", strengthen the metrology system and capacity building, and enhance the ability and level of metrology to serve economic and social development, on May 20th, the Henan Provincial Market Supervision Administration held a launch ceremony for the World Metrology Day theme promotion activity at the Pingyuan New Area Experimental Base of the Provincial Institute of Metrology and Testing Science.

　　At the meeting, it was announced that the Henan Provincial Weighing Instruments and Traffic Measurement Technology Committee had been established, with Chang Xingwen, the chairman of HNDI, as the chairman and Zhang Hao, the deputy manager of Zhongben Testing and Authentication Co., Ltd., as the committee member.

　　On the afternoon of that day, the "2023 Most Beautiful Metrologist" award ceremony was held at the Pingyuan New Area Experimental Base of Henan Institute of Metrology and Testing Science. This was the first selection event for the award, and more than 100 representatives from multiple enterprises and institutions in our province, as well as participants, participated in the meeting. Zhu Zilu, the technical director of the Metrology Center of Zhongben Testing and Authentication Co., Ltd., was awarded the honorary title of "Most Beautiful Metrologist of 2023". As a typical representative, he was interviewed by a reporter from Henan Radio and Television Station. His advanced achievements will be exhibited at Henan Institute of Metrology and Testing Science for half a year.

　　The Metrology Center of Zhongben Testing and Authentication Co., Ltd. was established in 2019. In January 2022 and April 2023, it passed the first and expanded evaluation of calibration laboratory accreditation. At present, the metrology center is equipped with over 40 high-level technical personnel, including 1 first level registered metrologist and 31 second level registered metrologists. Personnel with a master's degree or above account for over 90%. It can carry out 208 calibration and testing projects for instruments and equipment in 8 fields, including geometry, thermodynamics, acoustics, electromagnetism, time and frequency, mechanics, chemistry, and special measuring instruments for construction and transportation, with a measurement range of 585. In February 2023, Zhongben Testing& Authentication Co., Ltd. was awarded the honorary certificate of "exemplary organization of Metrology Traceability" by Henan Institute of Metrology and Testing.
