The highway over-limit detection stations play a positive role in managing over-limit transportation and keeping roads intact. With the approval and implementation of the National Highway Network Planning and Henan Province's General Provincial Road Network Planning and Adjustment Program, the scale of the provincial road network has been greatly increased, the number of routes that can be bypassed by over-limit vehicles has increased, and the key nodes of the road network have changed greatly. On this basis, we prepared the "Henan Province highway over-limit detection station layout adjustment program", aimed at coordinating the control measures for province's trunk roads, expressways and rural highway, over-limit detection stations of trunk roads were set up. The over-limit detection stations were set up for main highways and provincial boundaries of expressways, the flow control were implemented at the entrances of toll gates, the over-height and over-width facilities were set to prohibit over-limit vehicles to drive on the rural highway. With rational distribution, optimized structure, mutual convergence and strict comprehensive control network, the key source of goods, important provincial boundary entrances and the main road network were effectively monitored.
